Farmlab has three hives on site; two Italian and one Russian.
Bees are a fantastic asset to any farm, from the honey to the pollination!
It may surprise some to know that most bees are not aggressive, stings are really the last and final resort.
Fun Fact: Hives can “split”, which happens when a new queen is born. The queens will either fight to the death or the new queen will leave it’s home with a group of its own to set up shop elsewhere.
